• Centennial Celebration Updates

Mark your calendars for PJ’s biggest event of the Century!  On May 25th, we will celebrate PJ’s 100th on the school grounds from 3-6pm.  There will be food trucks, live music, games, balloon artists and more – in other words, lots of fun to be had by all.

    VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
In order to make this milestone event a huge success, we need our PJ parents to volunteer to help out on this big day.  Please find the volunteer sign up sheet here and choose from one (or more) of the many opportunities available.  We thank you for your help in making this a memorable and special event for our children, teachers and staff, alumni and the entire PJ community.
    Special Requests
We are actively seeking coffee, chocolate or wine donations from parents who may have businesses or contacts for these items.  It is our plan to give small gifts to our PJ neighbours who surround the school as the day of the event will have lots of traffic and noise in the neighbourhood, and we would like to thank them for their understanding.  We are looking for approximately 30 donated items to use for gifts. As well, we are looking for face painters for the Centennial, and if you know of a company who we could speak to, we would appreciate the introduction.
If you would be willing to connect us with donations or face painters, or have any questions about volunteering for the event, please contact Robin Turnill, Centennial Lead, at 604-916-6199 or by email at [email protected].  Thanks very much!

    SPIRIT WEAR
Back by popular demand – PJ’s online store is NOW OPEN!  Shop our special edition Centennial spirit wear herePlace your order before May 3rd and you will receive your order by the end of June. The store will stay open until mid June but any orders received after May 3rd will not be delivered to PJ until the first week of September. ALUMNI TEA
On May 30th, we are hosting an Alumni Tea as part of our Centennial celebrations during this milestone year. We will be honouring our Alumni who have been past students of PJ over the years. To make this special event possible, we will need help from our parent community to volunteer by setting up and decorating the gym, serving food and tea/coffee, bringing in goodies and cleaning up at the end of the event. Please sign up here. Thank you in advance for all of your help in putting on this memorable event for our Alumni! If you have any questions, please reach out to our Centennial Lead, Robin Turnill at [email protected].
If you know of any Alumni who would like to come to this event, please forward on the invitation here. We look forward to seeing many PJ Alumni at our Centennial Celebration Tea!
